Lyndon, Kaisa, and the two Steves.
Thank you for organising the Adventure a Bike course. The first day was very informative with the skills being presented really well and plenty of time to practice. The information you guys provided was right on the money and it was great to get out on day two and put those skills into practice on a really enjoyable ride.
A really well organised course with excellent information provided by skilled and obviously well experienced trainers.
Dargle Adventure Bike course….
Thanks for the great weekend. Nice guys good instruction great ride Sunday. And even perfect weather
Hi Lyndon and Steve.
Thanks very much guys for a brilliant, fulfilling weekend.
The skills I learned in 2 days were fabulous and have immediately been put to use.
I was pretty confident on dirt roads before, but now I am competent and assured –
I can now get more fun from my off-road riding and do it in style and safety.
This course is a great investment – for less than the price of a set of fog lamps on my Triumph XC, I have learnt skills that will likely save me much more:
One avoided low-speed spill, and I am already way ahead ……
Thanks for a great weekend!
I hope you and Dean enjoyed your drive home from Merton. This is just a very quick message to say thank you for running a great course over the weekend. I really appreciate the time you took to ensure that we were learning as much as possible, and the benefit that we gain from your skills and experience is invaluable. I will ensure to let all my riding buddies know that they should do your course, and I look forward to doing it again myself in the future. All the best Lyndon. Thanks again for your time.
Good afternoon everyone involved in the Dargle camp
Son Jacob and husband Chris attended this week away with you all. Thankyou for the wonderful opportunity for Jacob to learn so many new skills and hone the ones he already had. They had such a good time.
Jacob raced at Oakdale last weekend and the skills he learnt at your camp were most evident. He raced better than ever, particularly on his 65. It was only his second time actually racing it and he held his own, finishing top 10 every race – 5th in the last.
If you intend to hold another program later in the year we would definitely be interested. Also, if you are available for private coaching, it is something we also be interested in.
Dear Kaisa and Lyndon
I wanted to write and say thank you so much for a fabulous week at Dargle. Our girls Alannah and Lara had the best week and got so much out of the course. They are both riding so much better than they were and are keen and interested in the mechanics of the bike. Thanks to you. Being with the younger children it was also nice to watch them help the younger kids when they couldn’t start their bike or were just “to tired” to push it to their tent. I think that they got more than riding out of the week. Dennis and I both thought the course was professional run and presented and we thought the world of Kellie, Dean and Martin. They were so patient and knowledgable. In our eyes they had a difficult job with such a variance in ages and abilities. They handled the group so well. We are hoping to do the course again in September. Dennis was so impressed he is hoping to do it too!
Sorry for the delay to send you this testimonial; better late than never.
I thoroughly enjoyed the course and it boosted my confidence on the road.
I have already recommended your course to all my mates.
Good luck in the future.
Thank you so much for the weekend. It was an absolutely awesome two days. We had to cancel last year because I had had a fall and fractured my arm so we’ve been looking forward to this one. I haven’t been riding long and so it was great to learn the techniques from you and your team. Paul and I both thought the course was really professionally run and I will write a review to go on the AMTRA website to say so!
Thanks to Dean, Jack and Steve also. Loved meeting Al and chatting to him too.
All the best,
I would like to just say a quick thank you for organising the Canberra off road course for all of us here in the ACT. It was a great time had by all and Lyndon and Steve are fantastic instructors. If you could pass on my thanks to them it would be greatly appreciated. It was an extremely well presented course with great tuition. I can only hope to catch up with them at an event in the future. Take care.
Hi Lyndon & team,
Thank you for your awesome training weekend you held at Al’s in October. I thoroughly enjoyed myself & have learnt lots, which I am already practicing the skills out on the trails.
Just thought you might be interested in having a look at some photo’s that Fred took, which I have posted in the ride reports section of the AMTRA website. We are both members of this club. There are some of your son’s which came out really good, especially of a log hop! Just wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed the 2 day cause down at Quart pot recently. It was well worth doing, I have been trying to put to good use some of the things I learnt. Some things need more practice than others.I just noticed you have a 5 day course at Dargle. Might think about doing that.
Just a quick email to say how much we all benefitted from this weeks Off Road / Sand course at Braidwood
Steve was a great teacher, very clear in his tuition and demonstrations, and extraordinarily patient with us all. We also had a good time!
Many thanks again
Lyndon and Dean,
Just a quick email to thank you both for the last two days – Aidan really enjoyed himself, and even more importantly he came away a significantly better rider. We will be back again in September, and I might even dust my old boots off and join in as well.
Great work gents
Aidan and Richard
I completed your adventure bike course on the weekend and just wanted to say ‘thank you’ to Steve and Chris for imparting their huge experience and patient teaching style. I picked up heaps of tips which will improve my riding and give me more confidence attacking more challenging trails. The course also crystallized a lot of half-skills I’d sort of figured out thrashing around in the scrub.
Looking forward to doing your sand course slated for April.
Cheers and thanks again.
Hi Lyndon, I did the course last weekend and just wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed it and how much I learnt. As a teacher for many years myself I’ve got to commend you. Your teaching skills are fantastic, with techniques broken down into manageable and easy to understand bits and progressing from basic to advanced. Even though I could only just do the level 1 stuff it has given me something to aim for in my riding. The team of guys you had there were fantastic also, very patient and offering great advice. Please pass on my sincere thanks to them. My riding improved between day 1 and day 2 and I’ll continue to set time aside to practice the basics as suggested. Looking forward to continuing improvement and I will definitely plan on doing another course with you down the track. Thanks for a great weekend and for passing on some of the knowledge you have acquired over the years. You certainly managed to teach this old dog a few new tricks
What a great Saturday! Nice weather, good paddock to train on, very knowledgeable and didactic instructor, lots of time to practice, great program to build up your skills slowly but surely.
I come back a much-improved rider with more confidence, more skills and I know it will mean a lot more fun on the trail!
Thanks to everyone an I’ll make sure I book a full course in the near future!
I’m just writing to thank you for the training – it was an eye opener! I’ve improved my dirt riding skills heaps on and it’s helped me build back my confidence back after the crash.
In a couple of days I’m off to Victoria to do the Great Ocean Road, but as soon as I’m back I’ll edit the video from the training – I’ve got some good shots!
